A reflection on women’s resilience, inspired by my mother’s story. Orphaned young, she persevered and found success, captured here with her friend during their NYSC service.
The tools symbolize strength, while the Volkswagen Beetle evokes the 1970s, the era after the civil war that deeply affected the Igbo people. The work is both personal memory and cultural reflection.
